My name is Adrien Lecomte, I’m 33 years old, formerly a video game creator, and not too long ago, a swimming club coach. Now, I’m embarking on my journey into entrepreneurship and SaaS exploration.

My Passion for Game Development

I’ve created two video games using Unity 3D, teaching myself programming during my spare time. I won’t hide it; this was my main passion not too long ago. However, I can’t make a living from it, so I need to find alternatives that align with my skills, future aspirations, and the time I have available, as being a father and husband takes up a lot of time!

Transition to Web Development

Exploring New Opportunities

Given my programming skills, primarily in C# thanks to Unity, I searched for a job in software development. However, in my region, there were only 20 job offers for game developers compared to over 2000 for web development. This field also interests me, and I already had some knowledge of CSS, HTML, and PHP.

My journey Begins

So, here I am, embarking on my journey! Without the necessary skills, I’m seeking training in various areas related to web development and website creation. The main idea behind my journey is financial, so I’m looking to make money while learning. Even if I don’t find a job as an employee, I plan to freelance.

This blog plays a crucial role: sharing my adventures and progress in the world of entrepreneurship. As someone who is passionate, with some programming and social media knowledge, I’m venturing into a slightly different field where, for now at least, I can’t call myself an expert.

Learning SEO and Tools

The blog requires learning SEO, on page SEO, improving pages, sites, and discovering new tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research and much more !

My Learning Path

Comprehensive Training

I plan to create websites from scratch. For this, I’m currently training on Udemy and will share my feedback on the courses I take. The goal is to learn the most in-demand languages and frameworks in the market: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Angular, and React.

Creating SaaS Products

Once I acquire these skills, I aim to create SaaS (Software as a Service) websites. I’ll also create content for social media and focus on two acquisition systems: the blog, where I aim to generate maximum traffic to implement affiliate links, and the SaaS i will develop to multiply revenue streams.

Current Situation

In the meantime, I’m doing odd jobs to make ends meet. Yes, this blog is quite different from the ones you probably read or the podcasts you listen to, featuring people making millions each year from various revenue sources. I’m actually just started my journey in july 2024 !
